Question: How many versions of the Gospel are there?

There are quite a few versions of God's good news (Gospel) from the early days of the Christian Church. One of the best known that's not in the Bible is the Gospel of Thomas. In the authorized Scriptures (the Bible), there are four that are accepted by the Church as authoritative: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each one tells the same story of Jesus from a particular point of view with a specific audience in mind.
